How you opt in to HammerConnect texts
If someone refers you to HammerConnect, they send you a link from their own phone. HammerConnect does not text you first. When you open the link, you see the screen below and choose whether to receive texts. If you choose Yes, HammerConnect sends one confirmation text and asks you to reply YES; nothing else is sent until you do.
Example of the opt-in screen
This is a picture of the screen, not a working form. There are two versions: one when the person who referred you named a pro, and one when they did not.
Version with a named pro
Example of the opt-in screen
Mike referred you to Sample Windows Co. for window installation in Miami Beach.
Version with no named pro
Example of the opt-in screen
Mike referred you to HammerConnect for window installation in Miami Beach. OK for HammerConnect to text you about this job and introduce you to a pro?
In this version, each pro is introduced by name in a text to you before that pro texts you, and you answer YES or NO.
The confirmation text
After you tap Yes, HammerConnect sends one text to your number asking you to reply YES. This shows that you have the phone. No pro texts you, and nothing is passed on, until your YES arrives.
With a named pro:
HammerConnect: Thanks. Reply YES to get Sample Windows Co.'s message about your window installation job. Up to 5 msgs/week. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
With no named pro:
HammerConnect: Thanks. Reply YES to get texts from HammerConnect about your window installation job. Up to 5 msgs/week. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
Then, before a pro texts you:
HammerConnect: Want Sample Windows Co., a window installation pro, to text you about your job? Reply YES or NO.
You can reply STOP at any time to stop all texts, or HELP for help. Consent is not required to buy anything or to use HammerConnect.
